Super Fun Spooky Saturday

We decided to take the kids on a fun "spooky" Saturday outing. It was so much fun and I think it will be a new tradition!

First Stop: Jakers Pumpkin Patch. We did a corn maze with the kids for the first time and they LOVED it! The went through a spook alley, went down slides, climbed hay, rode horses, saw a kangaroo and threw a pumpkin on a trampoline to try to make it in a basket. Londyn succeeded! She is now in a drawing for a free trampoline! *fingers crossed*

Second Stop: Pumpkin Walk at the Gardens in Orem. They walked and saw lots of different Jack-o-Lanterns. Our favorite was seeing Aaron Reimschiissell' s (neighbor) pumpkin! Amazing! The kids got their fortune told, ate donuts on a string and got some fun goodies to take home!

Third Stop: Dinner at "The Black Bear Diner'. We stopped to eat some dinner before heading to our last destination. We had heard a lot about this diner and had to try it out. Sadly, we weren't that impressed but the atmosphere was fun!

Last Stop: Sleepy Hollow Hay Ride. This place was so fun and definitely a new favorite! We drove up to Midway for a horse drawn carriage ride through the forest while the carriage played the story of  'Ichabod Crane and the legend of Sleepy Hollow'. During the ride, people jump out at you and in the end, the Headless Horseman chases after the carriage trying to get you! The horseman grabbed at Brileys head! It was a little creepy for ht e kids but they LOVED it!!
