I'm Thankful for....Beauty Salons

Ok, I never thought I'd be grateful for this in my entire life but here we go. A couple of weeks ago, I went to Londyn's pre-school to help with one of the centers. My center was helping the kids make bats out of their hands. I traced their hands for them and they got to cut them out and paste it to a circle. It was a lot of fun for me to see Londyn in her school environment. As I was helping Londyn, I realized that we needed to work on her cutting. So, that night we went to the store and got her a pair of her very own scissors. Briley also got a pair but not as sharp. The girls practice just about everyday and they are getting better. Never did I mention not to cut anything else but paper because I didn't want to put that idea inside of their little heads.

So, last night Joe's watching a football game, the girls are in the office playing with their Barbies and I'm vacuuming upstairs. I yell to the girls to start picking up because I'm going to start vacuuming downstairs. They say OK and I quickly do the dishes and head for the office to see if they had listened. Oh My Goodness!! What do my eyes see? This............

My little angels played Beauty Salon on poor, unsuspecting Barbie. May her hair rest in peace. So, this is what I am grateful for today........I'm grateful that the girls cut BARBIE'S hair and NOT their own. Hallelujah! I don't think Londyn could have handled looking like a boy.
